Greenbrier County Schools has announced open house dates for the upcoming school year, giving families an opportunity to prepare for a strong start this fall.
Following what district leaders describe as an “amazing school year,” students and staff are now looking ahead to a well-deserved summer break before returning to the classroom. Classes for students in grades 1–12 will begin on August 31, while Kindergarten students will start on September 8, and Pre-K students will begin on September 10.
Families who want to plan can now access a full schedule of school open house dates online. Open houses provide a valuable opportunity for students and parents to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and get ready for the first day of school.
UPDATE: Please note the revised start date for students in grades 1 - 5 at Frankford Elementary is Thursday, September 3. The school Open House date for Frankford Elementary is September 8 from 4 - 5 p.m.
